Case Study: The Evolution of a Logotype

Creating the perfect Logo can be a difficult and time-consuming process. Our artists have the skill and patience to deliver a custom logotype that exactly meets your requirements.

To give you a snapshot of how this process works, here is the real evolution of a logo commissioned by ePrint-Direct.

1. The challenge!

Our client, ePrint, sent us a tiny icon to work from, and asked us to create a large professional logo, approximately 400 by 400 pixels.

This is the actual logo that we were given to work from:

Working from this our artist produced a rough first draft
for discussion in-house:

2. Second draft

This evolved into a second draft which was sent to the client. The new logo had to fit in with the current style as it had been designed to compliment an overall scheme already adopted by the company.

3. Third draft

ePrint asked us if we could include people in the picture and show them walking into the printer as if it was a busy "print room".

4. Final logo

The final logo was delivered as a Photoshop file, with a custom layer for the Print Room text, so it could be easily produced in different languages.
